Before acquiring the Washstation business, Katy spent over 25 years as a finance professional and management consultant for very large and very small companies in the UK. During this time she spent 6 years working with the Washstation business and fell in love with commercial laundry. She brings a wealth of experience from many sectors into her new role including automotive, banking, digital marketing, healthcare, retail, technology and telecoms. Having worked with some of the UK's biggest and best brands Katy has plenty to draw on in creating a brilliant future for Washstation, as both a leading and trusted service partner and a great place to work.
Katy loves spending time with her family, especially outdoors, and has a lifelong passion for horses and racing.
Head of Client Services
Before joining Washstation Richard has worked for over 30 years in the service industry starting his career as a breakdown and installation engineer.
Richard has a strong background in the Gas and heating industry working as a service engineer and manager at British gas, later moving into challenging roles as a gas contract manager on social housing contracts in Birmingham and Peterborough. He later spent 4 years as Commercial Service Manager for in the commercial laundry industry for Girbau UK, managing a large team of engineers and supporting high profile clients in the care sector, large hotel groups and commercial laundries.
Richard’s interests are Cricket, Golf, formula 1 and spending time at the farm.
Client Services Manager
Mike joined Washstation as a Client Service Manager after spending the last 10 years within the automotive and insurance industries, covering customer service and client management roles along with heading up operations. Client focus is top of the list for Mike with a hands on approach towards relationship management. Demonstrating a track record of rapport building through dedication, loyalty and commitment, Mike always puts his clients first.
Out of the office, if he’s not at a gig or watching a range of sports, Mike is usually found in the rough, looking for his golf ball.
Client Services Manager
Elaine joined Washstation as a Client Service Manager after a successful career in management roles for Argos, Morrisons and Sainsburys. She has a strong background in customer-facing support, logistics and fulfillment and plays a vital role in ensuring that our field-based team have what they need when they need it. Having children of university age, Elaine has a great understanding of the challenges that some of our customers may face when living away from home for the first time.
In her spare time, Elaine loves to hang out with her family and getting outdoors, mountaineering and rock-climbing.
Born in England, raised in South Africa, Will has over 30 years experience in managing the finances of companies both large and small. Many of these businesses were in the Retail and Hospitality sectors where customer satisfaction is key to success, and Will brings this ethos to the Washstation team.
Away from work Will is a keen sportsman. His pursuits include tennis, golf, cycling and sailing.
Head of People
Holly has spent 20 years in HR, five of those working in Amsterdam for ABN AMRO bank, which was an amazing experience and where she was able to complete her Masters in Change & Performance Management. She has also worked within Telecommunications, IT and Retail.
During her time working within HR, she has helped many businesses with the challenges of takeovers and transformation. However, what she enjoys most is giving help and support to smaller businesses with setting up their HR infrastructure, training line managers and putting policies and procedures in place.
Holly is looking forward very much to being part of the team at Washstation and being able to build trusting relationships with all team members.
Whilst she is not at work, Holly can be found at football matches with her two boys, swimming and climbing. However, she is a keen entertainer and loves an excuse to put her cooking skills to the test!
